Days Between Dates
How to use this days between dates calculator
- Enter the requested values in the calculator.
- Review the result immediately below the fields.
- Use the explanation and example below to check how the result was obtained.
Method and formula
Choose a start and end date. The calculator subtracts midnight on the start date from midnight on the end date and converts the interval to days.
Worked example
From July 1 to July 8 is 7 elapsed days. If you need an inclusive count that includes both endpoints, add one day to the result.
What the result does not include
The calculation uses calendar dates and does not count business days or public holidays. Reversing the dates changes the direction but not the absolute interval.

Why can another calculator show a slightly different result?
Results can differ because of rounding, input units, timing assumptions, or extra fees and variables. Keep full precision until the final step and compare the assumptions used by each source.
Can I use this result for an official decision?
